Welcome to the
Waihī Beach Bowentown Boating & Fishing Club.

A proud part of the Bowentown community since 1963, we’re committed to creating a vibrant, inclusive space for locals and visitors to enjoy the very best of coastal life.

Our clubhouse sits in a pristine, unspoiled location with panoramic views of the harbour, making it a truly special place to gather.

A Thriving Community 

With more than 1,000 members, the Club is a lively hub for boating, fishing, and social connection.

New members are welcome year-round, and those who join can opt for secure key access to our easy-to-use boat ramps — ideal for getting out on the water and experiencing some of the region’s best fishing.

Eat, Relax & Take in the View 

Our clubhouse is home to our popular restaurant, a full bar, and a spacious deck right on the water’s edge. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy great food, and watch the sun set over the harbour. 

A free courtesy van is available to make your visit even more enjoyable and stress-free. Everyone is welcome — members and non-members alike.

Events & Facilities 

The Club hosts regular events throughout the year, including: 
• Fishing competitions 
• Themed social nights 
• Friday raffles 
• 8-ball evenings
• Live music every Sunday 

On-site facilities include: 
• A full boat ramp and jetty 
• A pay-per-use ramp for casual visitors 
• Wheelchair-accessible entry with ramp and indoor lift
